100 years ago Venezuela was the only export-market for the company Gathmann. The founder Wilhelm Gathmann sent the merchandise from Pforzheim to his brother in Caracas who was working in the family’s jewelry shop „Gathmann Hermanos“.

 He even travelled himself visiting other customers in the heart of the country to sell them German jewelry. On these trips he was riding on a mule with the jewelry packed in his saddle bags.

 A lot has changed since those days! Today Gathmann is exporting jewelry into more than 50 countries of the world. Our main markets are USA, Canada, Japan, Caribbean, Australia, Scandinavia, Southamerica and South Africa.
